50 YOUTHS RECEIVED VOCATIONAL TRAINING AT CHADET’S TRAINING CENTER

After CHADET has fully furnished its new training center with the necessary equipments,  the first round group of trainees 50 trainees , mostly constitute female youths who are involved in commercial sex work, received a 6 month vocational training on food Preparation, Child Care, Catering and Housekeeping. The training constitutes of both theoretical class with practical session, in which each trainee will later be assigned to businesses for cooperative training.

 

At the beginning of 2014, among those youths who completed their vocational training, 25% of them with outstanding achievements and interested to start business, awarded with seed capital to start small business in their field of study.

In addition to this provision of vocational skill training CHADET arranged sponsorship programs for 15 youth to attend their trainings in Building Finishing Work, Hair Dressing, and Electronics Maintenances by linking them to institutions.
